Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren transformation

Roughly 3 years ago one of my best friends bought one of his dream cars which is a SLR McLaren. He is one who thoroughly enjoys modifying cars to his exact spec and over time along with a bit more money the car has gone through quite a process. It started off as a stock SLR McLaren, black with black interior. The car was immediately sent to renntech in Florida for some power upgrades. The car was finished just in time for Gumball 3000 for the east coast portion in 2010. After driving the car around with the power upgrades my friend found it fit to just upgrade everything on the car; brakes, suspension, transmission, more power!! Along with all these upgrades they installed the SLR 722 headlights, taillights, gauge cluster in the dashboard, along with the 722 rear air brake because it goes up at a higher angle, blacked out wheels, and white brake calipers. The car was one of the sickest looking SLR McLarens in the USA. It still needed more though so my friend had the car sent to Platinum Motorsports in Los Angeles, California to have the car repainted white, fully redone interior in alcantara and carbon fiber, and a wild looking Mansory body kit. As of right now this is the fastest SLR McLaren in the world and one of the coolest looking ones as well.
